A Weekend of Peace
A gathering and retreat in the embrace of nature
Join us for a quiet, intimate weekend of peace at Terra Nova Center over the Fourth of July. This will be an intimate gathering, intentionally kept that way to allow for real connection, rest, and reflection. We’ll be joined by a few monks from the Walk for Peace, who live lives rooted in presence, compassion, and nonviolence. They’re not coming to teach or lead in a formal way, but simply to be with us—to walk, to listen, and to share in a way of being that is grounded and sincere.
Over the course of the weekend, we’ll spend time in stillness, in conversation, and out on the land. There will be space for quiet walks, personal reflection, and gentle connection with one another. Nothing rushed, nothing forced. This isn’t a structured retreat. It’s an open, supportive space—a chance to slow down, breathe, and come back to yourself, alongside others doing the same. The land at Terra Nova will hold us as we rest, listen, and return.
Expressing Interest
To keep the spirit of this weekend intact, space will be limited. If you feel called to join us, we invite you to fill out the Expression of Interest form below. Submitting the form doesn’t guarantee a spot, but it helps us gather a group that feels aligned for this experience.
Even if space fills, we still encourage you to reach out. There may be other opportunities to connect with the monks while they are here, and we’d love to stay in touch. Thank you for meeting this offering with the same care and intention it’s being created with.
