Sunday mornings are the heart of our spiritual community at Terra Nova Center of The Brigade of Light. Each week, we gather in the Lighthouse Chapel for worship, reflection, teaching, prayer, music, meditation, fellowship, and spiritual exploration. While no two Sundays are exactly alike, every service is rooted in the values that have guided The Brigade of Light for decades:
Love. Peace. Service.
The Brigade of Light is a non-denominational Christian church with a welcoming and expansive approach to spiritual life. Our services are led by our Pastor, ordained ministers, members of our spiritual leadership, and invited guests—allowing our community to experience many voices, traditions, gifts, and forms of spiritual expression while remaining rooted in the spiritual house and ministry of The Brigade of Light. You do not need to be a member of our church, belong to a particular denomination, or already know exactly what you believe to join us.

What to Expect on Sunday
Come a little early, or simply arrive by 11:00 AM.
Each Sunday, we gather in a circle in the Lighthouse Chapel. Our service begins with community announcements and prayer, followed by Light Language and the unfolding of our sacred hour together. No two Sundays are exactly the same. Depending on the week, our time together may include prayer, meditation, music, Light Language, a sermon or spiritual message, guest speakers, personal reflection, and community sharing. Our Pastor and ministers help facilitate and guide our services, alongside members of our spiritual community and occasional invited guests. But Sunday Service isn't meant to be something you simply sit and watch.
You are part of the circle.
Those gathered are encouraged to listen, reflect, participate, and, when moved, share what they bring to the sacred hour. While someone may introduce a teaching, message, or topic, the wisdom and experience of the circle are an important part of our time together. An offering basket is available each Sunday for those who wish to support the ministry and work of The Brigade of Light. Giving is always an invitation, never an expectation.
Stay for Fellowship
After service, you're invited to stay for fellowship over coffee, tea, and dessert. This is an easy, informal time to connect, socialize, reflect on the hour we've shared, meet someone new, or continue a conversation that began in the circle.
Come as you are. There is no dress code—wear whatever makes you comfortable. Children and families are always welcome. Our hope is simply that when you leave the mountain, you feel a little more uplifted, connected to God, connected to one another, and grounded in the principles at the heart of our spiritual house:

At The Brigade of Light, we believe there is great value in gathering around a circle where many voices can be heard. Our Sunday Services are held within the ministry of The Brigade of Light, guided by our Pastor and supported by our ordained ministers and spiritual leadership. Throughout the year, members of our ministry, invited speakers, musicians, teachers, and other guests may be called upon to share a message or offer their gifts to the circle. This means you may encounter something a little different each time you join us. One Sunday may center around a sermon or spiritual teaching. Another may invite deeper meditation, music, prayer, personal testimony, or community reflection. Some Sundays are joyful and expressive; others are quiet and contemplative. We make room for Spirit to meet the circle where it is. What holds these different expressions together is our shared spiritual home.
The Brigade of Light is a non-denominational Christian church founded in 1969. Our faith calls us toward a living relationship with God and toward recognizing the sacredness and dignity within one another. We welcome sincere spiritual exploration while remaining grounded in the principles that have guided our church for generations:

You don't have to arrive believing exactly as someone else does. You are invited to come with an open heart, listen deeply, share when you feel called, and be part of the circle.
