Join us for the Beaver Moon (Frog’s Return Moon) Medicine Wheel Ceremony and Blue Ghost Fiefly Tour at Terra Nova Center on Monday, May 12th!
This moon, which spans from April 20 – May 20, marks a time of steady work, creativity, and clearing away obstacles. As the frogs begin to return, we are reminded of the power of transformation and renewal in our own lives.
This will be a ceremonial walk, beginning with the lighting of the fire, which will guide us through a journey of connection, reflection, and renewal. We will honor the energy of the Beaver Moonstone, grounding ourselves in the strength to overcome challenges and build new foundations. Just like the beaver who tirelessly works to create its home, this is a time for us to reflect on the structures we are creating in our own lives and what needs to be released or transmuted in order to grow.
As part of this sacred ceremony, we will engage in a sacred sharing circle during the walk, allowing participants the space to reflect, share, and support each other in their personal transformation. We will also have the opportunity to release what no longer serves us and set our intentions for the new growth ahead. At the end of our ceremony, there will be a fire transmutation ritual, where participants can burn what they wish to release, symbolizing transformation and renewal.
Pre-registration is required for this event, as there is a limited number of spots for the Blue Ghost Firefly (Blue Fairy) viewing that follows the ceremony. You may pre-register by calling 828-862-5909. You must call to reserve your spot.
This special Full Moon Medicine Wheel ceremony will be followed by an intimate viewing of the Blue Ghost Fireflies (Blue Fairies). After our ceremony, we will take a break for refreshments, and then gather for a quick presentation on the Blue Ghost Fireflies before heading into the evening’s viewing. This magical display of fireflies, known for their ethereal blue glow, is a rare and beautiful experience.
The event will begin at 6:30 pm at the Lighthouse Chapel. We will walk or drive to the Medicine Wheel, where we’ll engage in a beautiful ceremony to celebrate the Beaver Moon. This ceremony will involve releasing what no longer serves, connecting with the energy of the Beaver Moonstone, and setting intentions for future growth.
While donations to keep this programming free and accessible for all are encouraged, they are not required.
This is a very special night—an evening of transformation, connection, and nature’s magic.
