Terra Nova Center Public Closure Notice

The Brigade of Light and Terra Nova Center will be closed to the general public from today through next Friday as we host a number of private sacred events and ceremonies on the mountain. As a church, the Brigade of Light is honored to hold space for memorials, weddings, spiritual retreats, and other sacred gatherings. During this season, we have been entrusted with several of these important ceremonies, and we want to ensure that those gathering here are given the privacy, peace, and sacred space these occasions deserve. We respectfully ask that day pass holders and season pass holders refrain from visiting the property during this closure. Unless you are attending a pre-registered event or joining us for Sunday Service, the property will not be open for general visitation during this time.
This month's Healing Wednesday has been canceled. This week's Drum Circle hosted by Whole Life Rhythm has also been canceled. Our weekly Drum Circle will return next Wednesday, 8/16/2025 at 6:00 p.m. Our Sweat Lodge Ceremony will continue as scheduled this Wednesday evening for registered attendees. Please remember that this is a pre-registered ceremony and is not open for general drop-in visitation. Sunday Service will continue as normal at 11:00 a.m., and all are welcome.
Terra Nova Center offers many beautiful opportunities throughout the season to step into nature, reconnect, rest, and find a place of wholeness and centeredness. At the heart of all that we do, however, is the highest mission of the Brigade of Light: to hold sacred space. Sometimes that means opening the mountain widely to our community. At other times, it means creating quiet, protected space for those marking some of life's most sacred passages. Over the coming week, we are honored to do just that. If you are not joining us for a registered ceremony or Sunday Service, we will be holding the Light from the mountain for you, and we look forward to welcoming you back when our regular public access resumes.
