Who We Are
The Brigade of Light is a vibrant, non-denominational Christian church that was established on October 25, 1969, in Charlotte, North Carolina. We received our 501(c)(3) non-profit status on March 11, 1977. We are committed to creating a loving community where individuals can freely worship, pray, sing, and enjoy fellowship without the limitations of dogma or rigid belief systems.
Our community believes in embracing the Divine in all forms, welcoming all who seek spiritual growth and a deeper connection with the Creator. We are a non-judgmental, inclusive space for all who are called to walk the path of light.
Our Intent
At the Brigade of Light, we strive to live each day in loving gratitude for the gift of life. Our intentions include:
Maintaining active ministries and continually supporting the spiritual growth of our community.
Leaving every place better than we found it, by cleaning, fixing, planting, and beautifying whenever possible.
Offering loving and compassionate service to those in need.
Holding weekly services and fellowship at Terra Nova Center.
